This Privacy Policy strictly applies to the Acelog mobile application for iOS and Android. This policy is maintained by Ace Log Apps Pty Ltd to comply with Apple App Store Review Guidelines and Google Play Developer Policies.

1. Information We Collect

A. Local User Data

Acelog is engineered with a local-first privacy model. Your trade logs, estimates, job records, quotes, custom profile parameters, and business calculations are stored locally on your device. We do not transmit or store your business data or quotes on our servers.

B. Device & Diagnostic Analytics

To maintain app performance and fix software issues, the App may collect anonymized diagnostic data via standard platform frameworks (such as iOS Crashlytics or Android Vitals):

  • Operating system version and device hardware model.
  • Anonymized crash trace logs and performance metrics.

We do not track location history, contact lists, financial accounts, or personal user identity.

2. How We Use Information

Any anonymized technical or crash diagnostic data collected is used solely to:

  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve software bugs or performance bottlenecks.
  • Ensure compatibility across new iOS and Android updates.
  • Improve trade tracking efficiency and usability.

3. Data Storage & Local Control

Because your trade data is saved directly on your mobile device, you maintain 100% control over your data. We recommend configuring standard device backups (e.g. Apple iCloud Backup or Google Cloud Device Backup) to protect your local data.

4. Third-Party Marketplace & Community Content

If you choose to import custom profiles or tool configurations created by community members or third parties, please note that third-party files are imported at your own discretion. We do not collect or share personal information during template imports.

5. Children's Privacy

Acelog is a professional business productivity tool designed for tradespeople and contractors. It is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

6. Your Data Rights & Deletion

Under Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), GDPR, and CCPA, you have full rights regarding your data. Because all application data resides on your physical device, uninstalling the Acelog App permanently deletes all local records stored by the App.
